Senior relief

Washington County's 2026 elderly/disabled program applies a percentage discount to qualifying dwelling and land up to five acres: 80%, 60%, 40%, or 20% for income bands $0–$26,343, $26,344–$31,611, $31,612–$40,041, and $40,042–$46,363, with net worth under $100,000.

Valuation limits

No general local annual valuation cap verified. Virginia real estate is assessed at 100% fair-market value under applicable state law; qualifying land-use and relief programs are separate from a valuation cap.
