Senior relief
Shenandoah County offers real-estate tax relief/exemption for qualifying elderly or disabled owners; the official real-estate page requires an annual application by March 1.
Valuation limits
No general annual valuation cap verified. The 2026 general reassessment values all real estate at 100% fair-market value; Virginia's 101% revenue-limit/equalization rule is not an assessed-value cap.
