Payment deadline
June 5, 2026 and December 5, 2026, in two real-estate installments; the county's published taxpayer notices state real-estate taxes are due on those recurring dates.
Rate information
$0.58 per $100 base real-estate rate plus $0.07 per $100 countywide Fire and Rescue levy for the 2025 levy supporting FY 2026, or $0.65 per $100 combined where the levy applies.

Valuation limits

Virginia requires real property to be assessed at 100% of fair-market value; no general local annual valuation cap was verified. Qualifying land-use assessment is a separate program and is not a general cap.
