Exemption filing

July 15, 2026 for the senior homestead exemption; Teller County's official page states late applications may be accepted through August 15, but late filing affects appeal rights.

Senior relief

Teller County's senior exemption generally requires age 65+ on January 1, ownership and primary-residence occupancy for at least 10 consecutive years, and exempts 50% of the first $200,000 of actual value when funded.
