Payment deadline
Real-estate taxes are due June 5 and December 5.
Rate information
$0.81 per $100 for FY2026–2027, effective July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027; the adopted budget identifies the five-cent increase from the prior $0.76 rate.

Exemptions & appeals

Exemption filing

Repeat elderly/disabled tax-relief applicants are due March 1 annually; first-time applications are due December 31 for the following tax year.

Senior relief

Montgomery elderly/disabled relief: age 65 or totally/permanently disabled, owner-occupant; income limit $72,000 excluding the first $10,000 of applicant/relative income, net-worth limit $210,000 excluding the home and one acre; relief ranges from 40% to 100%.

Valuation limits

Assessments are at 100% fair market value with a four-year reassessment cycle; no general local annual valuation cap was verified.
