Senior relief

2026 Tennessee Property Tax Relief is available through the county Trustee to qualifying low-income elderly and disabled homeowners and disabled veterans or surviving spouses; primary residence required. Tennessee's local-option Tax Freeze is available to qualifying homeowners age 65+; see the official 2026 program information.

Valuation limits

No general annual property-value cap verified for Tennessee. Qualifying agricultural, forest, and open-space property may receive Greenbelt present-use valuation; qualifying age-65+ homeowners may receive a local-option property-tax freeze.
