Graham County says elderly, 100% disabled, and veteran exemption forms are available from the Tax Assessor/Collector; the NC programs include the elderly/disabled exclusion, disabled-veteran exclusion, and circuit-breaker deferment, with forms due June 1, 2026.

Valuation limits

No general local parcel-value cap verified. North Carolina requires appraisal at true value/market value and reappraisal at least every eight years under G.S. 105-283 and 105-286; qualifying present-use-value land and AV-9 relief programs reduce or defer taxable value but are not a general annual valuation cap.
