Payment deadline
For tax year 2026–2027: first installment due August 17, 2026 (last day without penalty August 27); second due October 5, 2026 (last day October 15); third due January 4, 2027 (last day January 14); fourth due March 1, 2027 (last day March 11). Nevada grants an automatic 10-day grace period.
Assessment appeal
White Pine County Board of Equalization hearings run from late January through February; the county advises early filing, and the statewide deadline for the 2026–2027 secured roll is January 15, 2026.

Exemption filing

For fiscal year 2026–2027 real property, Nevada personal exemption applications must be filed by June 15, 2026; personal-property or motor-vehicle applications may be filed by the applicable tax due date.

Valuation limits

White Pine County states Nevada's partial-abatement cap limits tax-bill increases to 3% for an owner-occupied primary residence and qualifying rental property and no more than 8% for other property; the cap applies to the bill, not assessed value, and exceptions include new parcels, improvements, and changes in use.
