Payment deadline
For tax year 2026–2027: first installment due August 17, 2026 (last day without penalty August 27); second due October 5, 2026 (last day October 15); third due January 4, 2027 (last day January 14); fourth due March 1, 2027 (last day March 11). Nevada grants an automatic 10-day grace period.
Assessment appeal
County Board of Equalization petitions are due January 15, 2026 under the statewide schedule; a separate Eureka 2026 hearing date was not published in the sources reviewed.

Exemption filing

For FY 2026–2027 real property, Nevada personal exemption applications must be made by June 15, 2026; personal-property or motor-vehicle applications may be filed on or before the applicable tax due date.

Valuation limits

Eureka County explains AB 489/NRS 361.471–361.4735 as a 3% tax-bill cap for an owner's primary residence and an 8.0% cap for other property; the cap applies to the bill, not the assessed value, and excludes specified fees, new construction, changes in use, and other statutory exceptions.
