These are the dates and qualifications recorded in the directory. Confirm your tax year and current deadline with the official office and your property’s notice.

Tax bill mailing
2026–2027 secured real-property tax bills will be mailed in July 2026.
Payment deadline
2026–2027 secured real-property tax bills are mailed in July 2026. Installments are due August 17, 2026; October 5, 2026; January 4, 2027; and March 1, 2027, with a 10-day grace period under Nevada law.
Assessment appeal
For the 2026–2027 secured roll, appeal to the Churchill County Board of Equalization no later than January 15, 2026; appeal to the State Board of Equalization no later than March 10, 2026.

Exemption filing

Nevada personal exemption applications for secured real property for fiscal year 2026–2027 must be filed on or before June 15, 2026; Churchill County lists surviving-spouse, veteran, disabled-veteran, and blind-person programs.

Valuation limits

Nevada AB 489 / NRS 361.4723 provides a tax-bill abatement cap of no more than 3% for an owner-occupied primary residence or qualifying rental dwelling and generally no more than 8% for other property; Nevada does not cap assessed values. New construction, additions, parcel changes, and changes of use can fall outside the cap.
