Payment deadline

Senior relief

Louisiana Special Assessment Level may freeze the assessed value of a qualifying homestead for an owner age 65+ or a qualifying permanently disabled owner, disabled veteran, or eligible surviving spouse. The freeze applies to assessed value, not millage or total taxes; current income and documentation rules must be confirmed with the parish assessor.
