- Tax bill mailing
- On or before March 1, 2026 for real-estate Change of Value Notices; the reviewed county sources did not publish a specific tax-statement mailing day.
- Payment deadline
- First-half 2026 property taxes are due December 20, 2026; second-half taxes are due May 10, 2027, to avoid penalty.
- Assessment appeal
- Within 30 days of the mailing date of the 2026 real-estate Change of Value Notice; the county's published appraisal calendar controls.

Senior relief
Kansas SAFESR (K-40PT) may refund 75% of timely paid principal-residence property tax for qualifying homeowners age 65+ with 2025 household income of $25,380 or less and a home valued at no more than $350,000; Kansas also offers K-40SVR relief for qualifying seniors and disabled veterans.
