- November 2026 (official Platte County dates page says the Collector mails tax bills in November; no specific day published).
- Payment deadline
- For 2026 Platte County real-estate/property taxes, payment is due by December 31, 2026 to avoid late-payment fees.
- Assessment appeal
- Platte County 2026 BOE appeals must be postmarked/turned in before Monday, July 13, 2026 (second Monday in July); 2026 BOE hearings are in July. STC complaint due Sept30 or 30 days after BOE decision, whichever later.

Senior relief
Platte County Senior Real Estate Tax Credit under SB 190: eligible applicants are age 62 by December 31, 2026, own and occupy a primary residence in Platte County, and are liable for the property taxes. Valuation limits
No general local annual valuation cap was verified. Under Missouri law (RSMo §137.115), real property is reassessed in odd-numbered years; the odd-year assessed values generally apply in the following even-numbered year except new construction and improvements. Statutory assessment ratios are 19% residential, 12% agricultural, and 32% commercial.
