Tax bill mailing

Payment deadline
For 2026 property taxes payable in 2027: first half due February 28, 2027; full payment due April 30, 2027; second half due June 15, 2027. Logan County's Treasurer page lists these dates.
Assessment appeal
May 1 through June 8, 2026 under Colorado's current standard real-property protest period; a separate Logan-specific 2026 cutoff was not published in the official source reviewed.

Exemption filing

July 15, 2026 for the Colorado Senior Homestead Property Tax Exemption application; the county assessor administers the application. Qualifying senior owners generally must be 65+ on January 1, own and occupy the primary residence, and satisfy the 10-year ownership/occupancy rule.

Senior relief

Colorado Senior Homestead Exemption: qualifying senior (generally age 65+ as of January 1) who owned and occupied the primary residence for at least 10 consecutive years; 50% of the first $200,000 of actual value is exempt. Surviving spouses and qualifying disabled veterans may have separate eligibility. Applications are due July 15; the program is subject to state funding/law.
