Exemption filing

March 1, 2026 for the 2026 Wyoming 25% homeowner exemption owner-occupancy affidavit; the local County Assessor reviews eligibility.

Senior relief

2026 Wyoming long-term homeowner exemption: an owner or spouse age 65 or older who has paid Wyoming residential property taxes for at least 25 years, owns and occupies the primary residence at least 8 months per year, and applies annually may receive a 50% exemption; the 2026 statewide statutory deadline was the fourth Monday in May (May 25, 2026), subject to county administration. Veteran exemptions and the Wyoming Department of Revenue property-tax refund program may also apply; eligibility and filing rules vary.
