These are the dates and qualifications recorded in the directory. Confirm your tax year and current deadline with the official office and your property’s notice.

Tax bill mailing
Early March 2026 for county/municipal bills and early July 2026 for school bills.
Payment deadline
2026 bills unpaid December 31 are turned over to Tax Claim by January 15, 2027; delinquent interest begins February 1 at 0.75% per month (9% annually).
Assessment appeal
September 1, 2026 for annual appeals; assessment-change appeals follow the notice deadline.

March 1, 2026 for Homestead/Farmstead; Clean and Green applications are due June 1 for the following year.

Senior relief

Pennsylvania Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program: eligible homeowners and renters age 65+, widows/widowers age 50+, and people with disabilities age 18+ may qualify; 2025 income limit is $48,110 and standard rebates are up to $1,000. Applications for 2025 taxes are due June 30, 2026 (the Department of Revenue toolkit says the deadline may be extended to December 31, 2026).
