- Payment deadline
- 2025 real-estate tax payable in 2026: the official Auditor notice states the second-half due date is July 31, 2026; a first-half date was not displayed in the reviewed current notice.
- Assessment appeal
- January 1–March 31, 2026 under Ohio Revised Code §5715.19 for 2025 valuation complaints; Carroll County's 2026 Board of Revision meeting schedule includes January 12 organization and April 3, April 15, and April 21 hearings.

December 31, 2026 for the 2025 tax year payable in 2026 for a new, transferred, or previously unclaimed homestead; continuing applicants generally return the form only when required by a change in eligibility.
Senior relief
Ohio homestead reduction for qualifying senior, disabled, and eligible surviving-spouse homeowners; Carroll County states that eligible 2026 homestead recipients receive the increased local credit automatically, while new applicants must file DTE 105A with the Auditor and meet Ohio's 2026 income and occupancy rules.
Valuation limits
No general county parcel-value cap was published. Ohio assesses real property at 35% of market value, reappraises every six years with triennial updates, and applies HB 920 reduction factors and the 10-mill limitation; House Bill 186 (effective March 20, 2026) creates an inflation-cap credit for qualifying property and taxing districts, shown on eligible 2026 bills.
