Tax bills & filing dates

These are the dates and qualifications recorded in the directory. Confirm your tax year and current deadline with the official office and your property’s notice.

Tax bill mailing
2026–2027 real-property tax bills are mailed once each fiscal year; official Clark County guidance says they should be received by August 1, 2026.
Payment deadline
2026–2027 secured real-property tax bills are mailed in July 2026. Installments are due August 17, 2026; October 5, 2026; January 4, 2027; and March 1, 2027, with a 10-day grace period under Nevada law.
Assessment appeal
For the 2026–2027 secured roll, a taxpayer may appeal to the Clark County Board of Equalization on or before January 15, 2026; any State Board of Equalization appeal is due no later than March 10, 2026.

Exemption filing

For fiscal year 2026–2027, Nevada personal exemption holders must respond by June 15, 2026 for real-property application; Clark County lists surviving-spouse, veteran, disabled-veteran, and blind-person programs and online renewal.

Valuation limits

Nevada AB 489 / NRS 361.4723 provides a tax-bill abatement cap of no more than 3% for an owner-occupied primary residence or qualifying rental dwelling and generally no more than 8% for other property; Nevada does not cap assessed values. New construction, additions, parcel changes, and changes of use can fall outside the cap.
