Exemptions & appeals

Senior relief

Ste. Genevieve County Senior Property Tax Relief under SB 190: 2025 is the base year; eligible registered county voters age 62+ who occupy and own/hold an interest in a primary residence may apply. 2026 applications were available February 1–June 30, 2026; taxes, not assessed value, are credited/frozen subject to statutory exceptions and improvements.
