These are the dates and qualifications recorded in the directory. Confirm your tax year and current deadline with the official office and your property’s notice.
- Payment deadline
- December 31, 2026; the official Lincoln Parish Sheriff states property taxes are due by December 31 and become delinquent after that date.
- Assessment appeal
- September 1, 2026; official 2026 schedule: public review August 17-31, last day to appeal September 1, and Board of Review September 8 at 6:00 p.m.

Louisiana Special Assessment Level: qualifying homestead owners age 65 or older and other qualifying disabled or veteran owners may receive an assessed-value freeze under state income and documentation rules; the freeze does not apply to municipal taxes.
