Senior relief
Kentucky's 2025-2026 homestead exemption is $49,100 for qualifying owners age 65 or older or totally disabled. The owner must own, occupy, and maintain the residence as of January 1. Disability applicants must receive qualifying payments and generally reapply annually unless a permanent exception applies.
