Payment deadline
October 1-November 1, 2026: 2% discount; November 2-December 31: face amount; January 1-31, 2027: 5% penalty; February 1-April 15: 21% penalty; unpaid bills transfer to the county clerk after April 15.
Assessment appeal
2026 tax-roll inspection/PVA conference period: May 4-May 18; assessment appeal due to the county clerk by May 19, 2026.

Senior relief

Kentucky homestead exemption applies to qualifying homeowners age 65 or older or totally disabled who own, occupy, and maintain the residence as of January 1. The 2025-2026 exemption amount is $49,100; applications are filed with the county PVA.
