Senior relief

Trigg County PVA confirms the homestead exemption for owners age 65 or older who own and reside in the property as of January 1; one exemption is allowed per residence. Kentucky's verified 2025-2026 exemption is $49,100. The PVA says qualifying owners generally do not reapply annually unless they move.
