Tax bill mailing
On or before November 1, 2026; Charlotte's Tax Collector states annual tax statements are mailed on or before November 1.
Payment deadline
March 31, 2027; 2026 real-property taxes must be paid by March 31, 2027 to avoid becoming delinquent April 1, 2027.

Exemption filing

March 1, 2026 under Florida's annual homestead filing rule; the reviewed Charlotte source did not publish a county-specific 2026 extension date.

Senior relief

Florida senior, low-income, disability, and veteran-related programs may apply; the reviewed Charlotte official sources did not publish one consolidated 2026 senior benefit amount or threshold.

Valuation limits

Florida Save Our Homes generally limits annual homestead assessed-value growth to the lesser of 3% or the CPI change; the cap is state-law based and does not apply to every property or taxing component.
