July 15, 2026 for the Colorado Senior Homestead Exemption; San Miguel County's official senior-exemption FAQ identifies the application deadline and eligibility.

Senior relief

San Miguel County's senior homestead program generally requires age 65+ on January 1, ownership and primary-residence occupancy for at least 10 consecutive years, and exempts 50% of the first $200,000 of actual value when funded.
