These are the dates and qualifications recorded in the directory. Confirm your tax year and current deadline with the official office and your property’s notice.

Tax bill mailing
January 2027 for annual tax statements; Larimer's 2026 Notice of Valuation was mailed the week of April 30, 2026, but the exact 2027 tax-statement date was not published.
Payment deadline
For 2026 taxes payable in 2027: first half due February 28, 2027; full payment due April 30, 2027; second half due June 15, 2027. If total tax is under $25, Larimer requires one full payment by the full-payment deadline.
Assessment appeal
May 1 through June 8, 2026 for 2026 real-property valuation protests; Larimer announced the 2026 notices would be mailed the week of April 30.

Exemption filing

July 15, 2026 for the Senior Homestead Exemption; Larimer also lists March 15, 2026 for Qualified Senior Primary Residence Classification and July 1, 2026 for qualifying-veteran/Gold Star Spouse applications.

Senior relief

Larimer County's senior exemption generally requires age 65+ as of January 1, ownership and primary-residence occupancy for at least 10 consecutive years, and provides 50% of the first $200,000 of actual value exempted. The county separately lists a Qualified Senior Primary Residence Classification with a March 15 deadline.
