Tax bill mailing
As soon as practicable after January 1, 2027; the official Kiowa tax information says statements are mailed as soon as practicable after January 1.
Payment deadline
For 2026 taxes payable in 2027: first half due February 28, 2027; full payment due April 30, 2027; second half due June 15, 2027. Kiowa's official tax information also describes delinquent notices after the second-half deadline.
Assessment appeal
May 1 through June 8, 2026 under Colorado's standard real-property protest period; a separate Kiowa-specific 2026 cutoff was not published in the official source reviewed.

Senior relief

Colorado's senior exemption generally requires age 65+ as of January 1, ownership and primary-residence occupancy for at least 10 consecutive years, and provides 50% of the first $200,000 of actual value exempted.
