December 31, 2025 for a 2026 assessment-year Senior/Disabled exemption under the Washington application schedule; Spokane County publishes a 2026 application packet and income-threshold document.

Senior relief

Spokane County's 2026 Senior/Disabled program generally covers a homeowner age 62+ or qualifying disabled person who owns and occupies the home; the county page lists household income of $50,000 or less for the published program and provides the 2026 packet. Valuation limits

Spokane County states Initiative 747 does not cap an individual tax bill or assessed value; taxing districts have budget/levy limitations, including the 1% annual regular-levy limit, but special levies, new construction, annexations, and voter-approved measures can affect the bill. Assessed value is based on market value.

For a valuation appeal, use the appeal date in the tax and filing section above. Keep your notice, supporting evidence, and proof of submission.
