Payment deadline
All current-year 2026 real-estate taxes are due to local tax collectors before December 31, 2026, after which they are turned over as delinquent taxes.
Assessment appeal
September 1, 2026 by 4:00 p.m. for annual appeals in a normal assessment year; change-of-assessment appeals are due within 40 days of the notice.
Rate information
2026 county millage is 2.5655 mills; total property-tax burden varies by municipality and school district.
