These are the dates and qualifications recorded in the directory. Confirm your tax year and current deadline with the official office and your property’s notice.

Tax bill mailing
March 1, 2026; the official Lawrence County due-date page says tax bills are mailed by March 1 each year.
Payment deadline
2026 county real-estate taxes: 2% discount on or before May 1; face amount May 2-July 6; 10% penalty July 7-December 31.
Assessment appeal
August 1, 2026 by 4:00 p.m. for annual real-property assessment appeals; changed-assessment notices and the county appeal rules control when applicable.

Exemption filing

March 1, 2026; the official Lawrence County Homestead/Farmstead application must be filed by March 1.

Senior relief

Pennsylvania Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program: homeowners/renters age 65+, widows/widowers age 50+, and people with disabilities age 18+ may qualify; 2025 household income limit is $48,110 and standard rebates range from $380 to $1,000.
