These are the dates and qualifications recorded in the directory. Confirm your tax year and current deadline with the official office and your property’s notice.

Tax bill mailing
Early April 2026 for county/township bills and early August 2026 for school bills, according to the official Tax Claim Bureau information.
Payment deadline
2026 county taxes: 2% discount April 1–May 31; face June 1–July 31; penalty August 1–December 31. Online payment is through the official county page.
Assessment appeal
September 1, 2026 for the following tax year; assessment-change appeals are due within 40 days of the notice mailing.

Senior relief

Pennsylvania Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program: eligible homeowners and renters age 65+, widows/widowers age 50+, and people with disabilities age 18+ may qualify; 2025 income limit is $48,110 and standard rebates are up to $1,000. Applications for 2025 taxes are due June 30, 2026 (the Department of Revenue toolkit says the deadline may be extended to December 31, 2026).
