Payment deadline
2026 current-tax penalty dates are set by each local tax collector; collectors settle with the Treasurer by January 15, 2027, after which delinquent payments go to the Crawford County Tax Claim Bureau.
Assessment appeal
August 1, 2026 annual appeal deadline designated by the County Commissioners; appeal hearings are scheduled as posted by the Assessment Office.

Exemption filing

March 1, 2026; new Homestead/Farmstead enrollment begins January 1 and the official application is mailed to the Assessment Office.

Senior relief

Pennsylvania Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program: eligible homeowners and renters age 65+, widows/widowers age 50+, and people with disabilities age 18+ may qualify; 2025 household income limit is $48,110, with standard rebates up to $1,000.
