Payment deadline
For 2026 county/township taxes, Adams County states the tax year is January 1–December 31; payment is at 2% discount through April 30, 2026, face amount through June 30, and 10% penalty after June 30. School and municipal schedules may differ by taxing district.
Assessment appeal
For the 2026 billing cycle, Adams County's annual assessment appeal deadline was 4:30 p.m. on August 1, 2025; a change-of-assessment appeal may be filed within 40 days after receiving the notice. Adams County also accepts appeals at any time subject to the applicable cycle deadline.

Senior relief

Pennsylvania Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program: eligible Pennsylvania homeowners age 65 or older, widows/widowers age 50 or older, and people with disabilities may qualify subject to income and residency rules. For property taxes or rent paid in 2025, the official 2026 application deadline is June 30, 2026; see https://www.pa.gov/agencies/revenue/ptrr/ptrr-toolkit
