Exemptions & appeals

Senior relief

Missouri Property Tax Credit (Circuit Breaker) may provide a state income-tax credit to eligible senior or disabled homeowners/renters; no additional county-specific senior program was verified in the official sources reviewed.

Valuation limits

No general local annual valuation cap was verified. Missouri real property is generally reassessed in odd-numbered years, with statutory assessment ratios of 19% residential, 12% agricultural, and 32% commercial; any local senior credit limits tax liability rather than market or assessed value.

For a valuation appeal, use the appeal date in the tax and filing section above. Keep your notice, supporting evidence, and proof of submission.
