Exemption filing

December 31, 2026; the official FAQ says the homestead application should be filed after January 1 and before December 31, with earlier filing preferred so the tax notice is correct.

Senior relief

Special Assessment Level freeze: an owner age 65 or older with homestead and adjusted gross household income at or below the published threshold may freeze assessed value; qualifying permanently disabled owners and veterans may also qualify with documentation. The official published $100,000 example is for 2023, not a verified 2026 threshold.

For a valuation appeal, use the appeal date in the tax and filing section above. Keep your notice, supporting evidence, and proof of submission.
