Senior relief

Louisiana Special Assessment Level may freeze the assessed value of qualifying homesteads for eligible owners age 65+, permanently/totally disabled owners, disabled veterans, and qualifying military spouses; the freeze applies to assessed value, not millage or taxes. Current income and documentation rules must be confirmed with the parish assessor.
