2026 Kentucky standard schedule: 2% discount through November 1; face value November 2-December 31; 5% penalty January 1-31, 2027; 21% total penalty after January 31; unpaid bills transfer to the county clerk after April 15, 2027.
Assessment appeal

Senior relief

Kentucky's 2025-2026 homestead exemption is $49,100 for qualifying owners age 65 or older or totally disabled. The owner must own, occupy, and maintain the residence as of January 1. Disability applicants must receive qualifying payments and generally provide annual documentation.
