Payment deadline
December 20, 2026, for the full amount or first half; because it falls on Sunday, payment is extended to Monday, December 21, 2026. The second half is due May 10, 2027.
Assessment appeal

Senior relief

Kansas SAFESR may refund 75% of timely paid principal-residence property tax for qualifying Kansas residents age 65 or older, with household income of $25,380 or less and a home valued at no more than $350,000. K-40SVR may apply to qualifying seniors, disabled veterans, and surviving spouses.
