Exemption filing

April 15, 2026, for 2025 Kansas Homestead, SAFESR, or SVR claims; a 2026-tax-year claim deadline was not separately published.

Senior relief

Kansas SAFESR may refund 75% of timely paid principal-residence property tax for qualifying Kansas residents age 65 or older, with household income of $25,380 or less and a home valued at no more than $350,000. K-40SVR may apply to qualifying seniors, disabled veterans, and surviving spouses.
