Senior relief

Senior Citizen Homestead Exemption: $5,000 assessed-value reduction at age 65. Senior Citizen Assessment Freeze: freezes the assessed value at the prior value; age 65+, income limit stated by the county, and application due July 1 each year. Senior Citizens Real Estate Tax Deferral: age 65+, income limit $25,000, apply by March 1 each year with the Treasurer.
