Tax bill mailing
July 20, 2026 for the first-half bill and January 20, 2027 for the second-half bill.
Payment deadline
August 20, 2026 and February 20, 2027; official Kauaʻi collections information uses two installments.
Assessment appeal
December 31, 2026 for the 2026 assessment appeal window, which officially runs December 1-December 31 unless an amended notice supplies a separate 30-day period.

Exemption filing

September 30, 2026 for the following fiscal-year exemption claim; the official rule is September 30 preceding the tax year.

Senior relief

Kauaʻi's official exemption information provides an additional age exemption for homeowners age 60 and older; the standard homeowner exemption is $220,000, with exact age-tier amounts administered by the Real Property Division.

Valuation limits

For qualifying Owner-Occupied or Owner-Occupied Mixed-Use properties held under the official conditions, assessed-value increases are limited to 3% beginning in 2017.
