These are the dates and qualifications recorded in the directory. Confirm your tax year and current deadline with the official office and your property’s notice.
- Tax bill mailing
- July 20, 2026; official County of Hawaiʻi information states real-property tax bills are mailed July 20.
- Payment deadline
- August 20, 2026 and February 20, 2027; official County of Hawaiʻi information uses two fiscal-year installments.
- Assessment appeal
- April 9, 2026 for the 2026 assessment; amended notices have a 30-day appeal period.
- Rate information
- FY 2026-27 Homeowner class: $5.75 per $1,000 net taxable value = 0.575%; rates vary by property class.

Senior relief
The official County of Hawaiʻi programs page identifies homeowner, disability, veterans-disability, agricultural, rental, and other programs; it does not publish a separate age-65-only amount in the reviewed source.
Valuation limits
Homeowner-class assessed values are restricted to no more than a 3% annual increase under the County of Hawaiʻi homeowner class rule, subject to the official program conditions.
