Assessment appeal
45 days from the mailing date of the notice of assessment; the appeal is filed with the county Board of Tax Assessors and must be postmarked by that deadline.

Senior relief

Franklin County's official forms page lists a $4,000 county and $10,000 school-tax exemption for qualifying owners age 65+ and a $10,000 school-tax exemption for qualifying owners age 62+ with gross income not exceeding $10,000; applications are due April 1.
