Senior relief
Mandatory senior-citizen and disabled-veteran exemption applications were due January 15, 2026; optional exemption applications were due February 17, 2026. The borough's Assessing Division administers the programs and provides the applicable forms.
Valuation limits
No individual annual assessment-growth cap identified in the official source reviewed; Alaska requires full and true market value as of January 1. State and local tax-cap rules limit levies or aggregate revenue, not an individual parcel's annual assessed-value growth.
For a valuation appeal, use the appeal date in the tax and filing section above. Keep your notice, supporting evidence, and proof of submission.
